      Over the summer i read money hungry by sharon flake, The book was good in ways that gave me perspective on poorer life style, because i and the people i know aren't poor so i don't know what its like to have less money or be around some one with less money.the book showed so character change in the main character raspberry where at the beginning of the book she was obsessed with money and would do anything to get it. Until only she started stealing, she took 50 dollars from her friend Ja'nae and felt so bad she went back to her house and gave it back.

 Raspberry moved to a new house with a new life, her mother working another part time job and her dating Raspberries friends dad Dr. mitchell. Raspberry learns how to deal with money issues.
